Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care - Spanish

About the Role: 
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, proficient in Spanish, to join our healthcare team in Whittier. The PA/NP will play a vital role in providing exceptional medical care to patients of all ages. The practice was formerly a Med-Spa and has a welcoming environment for patients and providers.

What You'll Do: 

  • Diagnose, interpret test results and treat common acute and chronic adult/pediatric illnesses, applying evidenced-based medical practices
  • Collaborate with the patient and patient’s family to create and execute treatment plans and ensure proper coordination of care to optimize patient’s health progress
  • Maintain patient Electronic Medical Record data
  • Refer to specialists when appropriate
  • Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality and clinical excellence goals

Qualifications: 

  • Unrestricted and active California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
  • Current BLS, ACLS certification
  • Current California DEA certificate prior to start date
  • Proficiency with EMRs
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, or Korean

You’re Great for This Role If You Have:

  • At least one year of experience working as a physician assistant
  • Internal medicine or primary care experience
  • Experience working in a collaborative setting to ensure positive patient health outcomes
  • Interest in working with Medicare patients

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions: 

  • This position is located in Whittier.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is between $65- $80 per hour. This pay range represents our national target range for this role.
  • This is a full-time position. Consideration can be made for part-time employment.
