Client is seeking a NP/PA for a contract assignment in Bakersfield, CA from September 25 - December 29. Provider will see ages 2+ for primary care and acute care. Duties include diagnosing and treating chronic diseases and acute/episodic occurrences; performing physical examination and preventive health measures; ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests; recording physical findings and formulating plan and prognosis; submitting health care plans and goals; prescribing or recommending drugs or other forms of treatment; referring patients. Will be working with a MD, midlevel provider, RN, and MOA in the clinic.

Hours are Tuesday - Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm; Saturday, 9:00am - 1:00pm. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting to be considered for this assignment as well as have experience in the use of a electronic medical record, meet all state requirements, and be licensed. Preferred qualification are experience in Urgent Care or Occupational Medicine and Phlebotomy certification.
