Location: Southeast Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: June 30th – December 31st, 2025 – option to take all or part of this assignment (minimum of 4 weeks preferred)!
Compensation: Daily Rate – make $26,000+ per month!
Option to bring a family member along with you!
Key Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm + call rotations
- Compensation Breakdown:
- $885.00 daily rate (earned every day on assignment)
- $1327.50 holiday daily rate (limited holidays apply)
- 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure) paid at the daily rate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: Averages 10-12 per day
- On-Call Details:
- 3 APPs split call responsibilities
- Patient Volume, Call: Averages 1-2 per day
- Staffing Mix: 2 additional APPs and Health Aides

Qualifications
Active BLS, ACLS & ATLS
PALS preferred, but not required
Active DEA registration
Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum emergency medicine experience
Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
Alaska bush experience highly preferred
Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
Working Hours
June 30th – December 31st, 2025 – option to take all or part of this assignment (minimum of 4 weeks preferred)!
