Schedule
- 11am-9pm daily
Clinical Details
- APP will be working autonomously
- APP supervising physician will be present during assignment
- 10-hour midlevel shift (11 AM - 9 PM), will see patients by themselves, but physician is always present for consultation.
- Average patient volume per day: 20
- Number of beds: 25
- Percent (%) of total hospital admissions received from ED: 8%
- Percent (%) of ED patients admitted to the hospital per day: 8%
- Percent (%) of ED patients transferred per day: 2%
- Trauma Level/Designation: Provisional Level 4
- Annual ER volume: 20,000
- ED staff respond to house codes
- Hospitalist or ED physician writes admission orders
- Deliveries received in ED or sent directly to Labor & Delivery: Yes, and patients over 20 weeks with abdominal complaints
- ED responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio
- Referral/transfer protocol: 1st facility 40mins away, 2nd facility 1hr 15mins away
- 24-hour availability for Radiology (CT, MRI, X-ray) and Laboratory
- Blood Bank-certified by AABB
- Pathology
- 24-hour availability for the OR
- Surgical Services: Ortho
- Description of Consultants: Ortho OB Gen Surg Neuro Uro
- EKG Interpretations: Cardiologists, ED Doctor for in-department EKGs
Requirements
- Board Certified PA/PA
- Provider must be local
- Client will cover Mileage or Rental car and lodging. No flights covered.
- Must have clean background
- DEA
- Active MI License
- ACLS/PALS

- 1 full-time NP, 2 PRN PAs (can sometimes take shifts)
