The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in emergency medicine and be dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.

• 38,000 Annual Visit ED
• 15% admission rate from the ED
• 12-hour Physician shifts: 7 a-7p and 7p-7a Sun Sat; plus 1p-9p Mon
• 12-hour APP shifts: A mix of Day 7a-7p Mid 10a-10p Night 5p-5a
Salary
• Days-$95/hr.

Coverage includes:
• Radiology during the day and telerad at night
• Interventional Radiology
• Psychiatry
• Anesthesiology
• Line Service
• Ultrasound
• GYN (no OB)
• Hospitalist

• Neurology (9-5 M-F, not on Weekends)

Job Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in the emergency department.

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.

Provide emergency care to patients, including resuscitation and stabilization.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of the last 2 years of recent experience in emergency medicine and be dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in [State].

Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or a related field.

Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications preferred not required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
