Coverage Needed:

• February 1, 2025 - ongoing
• On-site, no call, days/nights/weekends
• Specific Dates:
  • Feb 1-4, 7-8, 13-15, 20, 22-23
  • Mar 1, 4, 9, 12-14, 16, 19, 22, 25, 29-31
• Shift Times: 6a-4p, 9a-8p, 4p-10p, 7p-6a

Clinical Information:

• EMR: Meditech
• Number of beds: 47
• Census: Average 130
• Daily admissions: 30-35
• Patient population: Mostly adult, some pediatric
• Trauma level 3 – APPs see mostly acuity level 3-5
• Support staff: RNs, LPNs, Techs
• Culture and microbiology results called by pharmacist
• Common Cases: Chest pain, abdominal pain, MVC, extremity injury, cough/illness, abscess, laceration repair, vaginal bleeding in pregnancy
• EM physicians on staff: 2-3 during day shift (9am-11pm), 1 physician from 11pm – 9 am

Required:

• Current Flu Vaccine
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
• Must have 4-5 years ED experience
• Required Procedures: I&D, Laceration repair
