Qualifications:

  • Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Prior emergency department experience and commitment to patient-first care.
  • Active license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

  • The position offers 72 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of daily coverage by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
  • Shifts are 12 hours long.
  • Full-time schedules require 144 hours per month.
  • Part-time and PRN options are also available, with benefits provided for both full-time and part-time roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a 46-bed Emergency Department designated as a Level II Trauma Center.
  • The department serves a high-acuity population with an annual emergency department volume of 41,000 visits.
  • Clinicians have access to cutting-edge tools, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and bedside ultrasound.
  • Patient care is documented using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
