Qualifications:
- Certification required
- Emergency medicine experience preferred
- New grads with previous emergency medicine experience welcome to apply.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- 12 hour shifts
- We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.
- Full-time employment is 120 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation.
- Annual ED visits 40,000.
- Manage a variety of emergency cases, including triage and fast-track patients.
- Collaborate closely with Sound’s hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care.
- Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.

Due to nearby Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista has a significant military and veteran population. It is renowned for its friendly and welcoming community and is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
