We are a leading Urgent Care Center. We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care i Westport CT. Our team is committed to providing passionate and efficient care to our local community. Pay rate: $85-95 per hr.

The ideal candidate should have professional clinical experience in Urgent Care Medicine, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality medical care that’s compassionate to our patient’s needs. Comfortable with evaluating and treating pediatric patients 4 months and older for acute illnesses and injuries.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the best medical practices and patient preferences to ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of illnesses and injuries.
• Patients may include, without limitation, pediatric patients (4) months of age or older, patients presenting for occupational medicine purposes, and patients presenting for medical clearance or acute illnesses or injuries.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with facility policies.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans based on patient assessments.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatric Medicine
• Licensed to practice in CT
• Proficient in Suturing, Splinting and I&D and other procedural skills as expected for Urgent Care medicine.
• DOT/Workers Comp Certified preferred
• DEA licensed

Working Hours

• Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM
• Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday 8-4
• Open 7 Days a week
