Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a locum basis at a Level III trauma center. With a busy ER handling approximately 60,000 cases annually (165 cases per 24-hour period), this position offers a dynamic and rewarding experience for an experienced APP.

Position Highlights:

• Shifts: 10-hour shifts, preference for providers who can cover 4-5 consecutive days
• Patient Volume: All ages
• EMR System: Epic
• Credentialing: Efficient credentialing process, typically completed within 30-45 days
• Travel & Lodging: Provided for locum providers

Requirements:

• Licensure: Valid Kentucky NP/PA license (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience in a high-volume environment is preferred
• Availability: Able to work 4-5 days in succession for seamless coverage
