Job Description
As a Wake Forest Emergency Providers Advanced Practice Provider, you will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Though APPs will collaborate with and share all patients with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered as our Urgent Care APP model supports. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute and chronic conditions with increasing independent expertise and are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership.

Providers may have a primary location however also willing to rotate to provide coverage between Urgent Care centers and/or Emergency Departments depending on partner organizations site.

Affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) is a nationally recognized, 501c3 non-profit, proudly providing health care for all! We are contracted with select, partner organizations to provide staffing for Hospital Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Cares throughout the North Central and Northwest regions of North Carolina.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP or PA.
- Nurse Practitioners ENP certified and/or eligible to sit for ENP boards encouraged.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
