Medicus is partnering with a facility in Long Island, New York, with an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide short-term locum Emergency Medicine coverage.
Opportunity Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week, some weekend coverage
- No call required
- Multiple locations
- Daily Volume: 50 patients during busy summer months
- Cases: Procedures, cuts, fish hooks, managing x-rays, stabilizing and redirecting serious injury
- Support Staff: MDs and APPs, 1:4 ratio
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & lodging
