Nurse Practitioner – Crisis Care Center - Beautiful Reno/Lake Tahoe Area

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Renown Health’s new Crisis Care Center. This center will provide medical screening, assistance, and resources to individuals in our community who are experiencing mental health challenges and crises in an UC/ER setting.

Position Details:
- Full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider
- Dedicated Team: MDs, NPs, RNs, LCSW, Peer Support Specialists, & Security Officer
- Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients being treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
- Ability to provide medical assessment upon triage to patients.
- Work within an ER/Urgent Care setting.
- EMR: EPIC
- Formal Academic Affiliation with University of Nevada School of Medicine/Renown

Position Requirements:
- Experience:
- 2-years minimum experience as an RN required.
- 1-year of clinical experience preferred as a Nurse Practitioner.
- New FNP grads are welcomed.
- Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure, Controlled Substance License, and DEA as a Nurse Practitioner.
