Locums – Las Vegas, Nevada, NP/PA Emergency Medicine Opening
- Clinical Role:

- Total Number of FTE’s needed: need is for 2 ER physicians and 1 ER Physician Assistant needed to work every day
- Reason for Coverage: Program transition expect to need locums for 8 weeks. Great assignment for fun in Vegas months
- Coverage Dates: July 1st start, every day is needed
- Shift times: 6a-2p (2), 10a-6p, 2p-10p (2), 6p-2a, 10p-6a (2 – locums will mostly work swing shifts. in the near future may have an opportunity for 10-hour shifts
- Patients per Day/Volume: Avg. 2.3-2.5 patients per hour through ER.
- Annual volume: Between both ER’s is 95k
- Number of Hospital beds: 541
- Trauma Level: No trauma level, however, facility does have a Level 1 Trauma ER
- Back up specialties to EM Department: All specialty back up
- EMR: EPIC
- Scribes: No scribes
- Mid-Level Providers: Physician Assistant every day working 10-hour shifts
- Education Requirements: ABEM/AOBEM only, EM residency trained and for APC Physician Assistant
- Life Support: Minimum ACLS and ALS needed
- Active State License Required? Nevada License required.
- IMLC State: No, NV timeline is lengthy.
- CSR/DEA Requirements: NV is a CSR state, license and CSR required.
