Facility in Williamsport, PA seeking surgery APP locums coverage

PayRates:

• Hourly: $150

• Night Call rate: $250 pager fee

• 24hr weekend call rate: $1000

• Call back: $170/hr

Details:

• Start Date: May 1, 2025

• Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, then Night Call 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Weekend Call: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM (Rounding approx. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

• Estimated Shifts Per Month: 14

Duties:

• Scrub for Cardiothoracic Surgery as First Assist

• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)

• Scheduled Surgical Cases & Rotating On-Call for Emergency Cases

• Weekend Rounds and Inpatient Coverage as Needed

• Privileges Available: Full Privileges, Temporary Privileges Available

• EMR/Charting: Cerner and Epic

• On Call: Yes (Emergency Surgical Call Only)

• Will Candidate Work Solo? Yes

• Average Admissions While On Call: Minimal, surgeons take overnight first call

• Types of Cases Seen:

• CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)

• Thoracic Cases

• AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement)

• TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)

• Aortic Cases

Requirements:

• Board Certified NP/PA

• Active Pennsylvania State License Required

• Minimum 1 Year of Cardiothoracic Surgery Experience

• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) Experience Required

• ACLS, BLS, and CPR Certifications Required

• DEA Required

• Must be able to function independently in the OR
