Opportunity:
- The incumbent is responsible for providing direct health care services to the cardiac interventional patient population
- Within this role, the incumbent synthesizes theoretical, scientific and contemporary clinical knowledge for the assessment and management of both health and illness states
- The primary care provided consists of evaluation of normal and abnormal findings, initiation of treatments and coordinating the discharge process
- These functions will be performed in accordance with the Standardized Procedures approved by the hospital's committee for Credentials and Interdisciplinary Practices and Cardiology/CV Surgery Committees

- Shift times: 12 hours 0900-2130 (somewhat flexible start)
- Looking for someone to work 3-12 hours per week (Thurs-Saturday)
- The shift includes Saturdays but no holidays
- There is 1 other Full time NP currently and the locums would collaborate on the shared schedule
- Schedule: varied working with 1 other NP to cover 6 days a week (includes Saturdays)
- Dates of coverage: ASAP start once credentialed for 3-6 months
- No call!
- Setting: Telemetry and Pre/Post Cardiac Unit
- FTE: 0.9 (full time)
- Duties: Individual functions independently, in collaboration with Cardiologist/Hospitalist to manage the care of pre and post procedure electrophysiology patients. Facilitates the progression of the patient from admission to discharge post procedure.
