The Providence Heart Institute in Oregon is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) physician assistant to join our team at the Providence Hood River Heart Clinic. One to three years of Cardiology experience is strongly preferred. This position will provide outpatient care only with no call requirement. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital has 25 beds with an active medical staff of more than 160 providers. A full complement of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing is available on-site. The Cardiology practice in Hood River includes an experienced cardiologist, physician assistant and support staff. The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” designation for coronary artery disease care.
