Job Description
St. Luke's Cardiology is looking to add an Advanced Practice Provider to their Meridian location. The Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions ranging from mild, to acute and/or chronic. The APP works under the supervision of a designated physician, and in collaboration with a team of other providers and staff.
What You Can Expect:
- Variable w/ weekdays and weekends but no nights.
- New grads can apply
- Will be working alongside 6 physicians, 4 APPs with support of RNs and MAs.
- Malpractice insurance as well as malpractice tail coverage
- $3,500 Professional Development Fund
- 5 CME days are included to complete education
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate education from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or qualifying education as designated by the Idaho Board of Nursing.
- Licenses/Certifications: License and certification, as required by the specialty, or be eligible to obtain licensure from Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses
