Position Overview:
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our growing cardiovascular care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality cardiovascular care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and management, in accordance with established medical standards. You will work closely with physicians, ensuring timely and compassionate care for patients. You will join a collaborative team consisting of two Nurse Practitioners and a Physician Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing practice. You will work alongside four invasive-interventional cardiologists, three invasive non-interventional cardiologists, two NPs, and a PA. Our practice has been providing premier cardiovascular care since 1976 and operates state-of-the-art facilities, including nuclear medicine and echo/ultrasound systems integrated with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. We also operate nine outreach clinics across the state. The primary hospital features two advanced cath labs and an active open-heart surgery program with two board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical exams both in the office and at a local hospital.
Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, modifying them as necessary in collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare providers.
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and make necessary referrals.
Coordinate patient discharge plans and ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits.
Assist with diagnostic studies, including nuclear studies, echo-stress, and cardiac stress tests.
Provide ongoing management of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in collaboration with cardiologists.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Must be a registered or certified Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
