Become part of the Einstein Healthcare Network (EHN) team! As a APC with the Einstein Healthcare Network, now a part of Jefferson Health, you will become part of a dynamic healthcare team, working in conjunction with physicians, residents, and nurses to provide quality care and treatment of emergency medicine observation patients in two diverse locations. Our facilities offer state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed with top-notch providers. Our APC positions offer the chance to be part of a great team of APCs and Physicians who work collaboratively.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Working in conjunction with physicians, and nurses to provide quality care and treatment of observation patients in two diverse locations
  • Working in both the teaching hospital environment, as well as the community hospital environment
  • If Physician Assistant:
    • Graduate of ARC-PA Accredited Physician Assistant Program
    • Active or pending Pennsylvania State license to practice as a Physician Assistant
    • NCCPA Board Certification
  • If Nurse Practitioner:
    • The NP will have successfully completed an accredited NP program
    • The NP is an advanced practice nurse who will hold a Bachelors Degree and will have successfully completed an accredited masters or post-masters NP program (or has been awarded an advanced degree or a course of study equivalent to that required for certification)
    • The NP will have a national certification as a CRNP ACUTE CARE CERTIFICATION
    • It is required that he/she maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be currently certified and maintain certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) from a board-recognized national certification organization which requires the passing of a national certifying examination in the particular specialty area
