Texoma Medical Center, a 333-bed acute care facility located one hour north of Dallas in Denison, TX, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for a Cardiology position.

This is an employed position with a very busy two-person group. The practice has been established for over ten years, is a highly productive practice, and provides traditional interventional and structural procedures.

The candidate will work directly alongside the Cardiologists seeing patients (will not be assisting them with procedures), working primarily as clinical expeditors. The position will include prepping the charts; documenting during the physician visit; and working with the physicians as they implement treatment plans. Position will share call with two other APPs on a rotating basis. Cardiology experience is preferable but not required, as the Cardiologists will provide training onsite.

The City of Denison, Texas, a community of 22,000 residents, is located 67 miles north of Dallas. Denison offers excellent schools, beautiful scenery, and a variety of shopping, restaurants and hotels. Its proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex allows Denison to offer access to every urban amenity, while retaining the unhurried atmosphere of a smaller community.

Texoma Medical Center is a 333-bed regional medical center with a staff of over 200 physicians. TMC’s main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, Texoma Medical center operates a number of locations throughout the Texoma region. The hospital offers major specialty services, including open heart surgery and neurosurgery. Advanced resources, such as certified trauma care support TMC's role as a regional specialty center. Since 1965, TMC has forged a special relationship with the people of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, providing the kind of sophisticated, experienced care that was once available only in major metropolitan areas.
