Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of anesthesiology, critical care, and patient management to ensure the highest level of safety and comfort for our patients.

  • Quick start - March 3rd start date
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Documentation System/EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting physical examinations.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Manage airway management techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients' recovery from anesthesia.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Document all anesthesia-related activities accurately in the patient's medical record using appropriate medical terminology.

Qualifications

  • Training or Experience Requirements: Level 1 trauma experience required;
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from an accredited program.
  • Experience administering injections and managing critical care situations.
  • Proficient in monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to anesthesia practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
