Job Summary:

Excellent opportunity to be part of a new Certified Nurse Midwifery Practice of 4 to work collaboratively with OB/GYN attending physicians and nursing staff at CJW Medical Center’s Chippenham Hospital campus. The practice is hospital-employed and located on the hospital campus.
The ideal candidate will be personable and collaborative with a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients and customer service to referring providers.

Qualifications include the following:
  • Coordination of a certified nurse midwife accredited program
  • Triaging obstetric patients
  • Providing direct clinical services and managing obstetrical patients per orders, policies, procedures and protocols
  • Provide coverage to treat women’s health concerns and preventive care patients in office setting
  • Manage low risk obstetrical patients through delivery and provide normal newborn care.
  • Qualified candidates will have 3 – 5 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team
