Medical center is looking to add a Midwife to its team.
- 5 MDs in practice
- Bread and butter clinical role plus call and deliveries
- Call 1:6 or better
- Patient population of both OB and Gyn - 60% OB/40% GYN
- 100+ deliveries
- Full time position, 4.5-day work week – M-Th 8-5, Fri 8 - noon
- Clinic Patient Volume is 18-24
- 30 minutes for new patients; 15 minute follow-ups
- Reduced inpatient rounding covered by Laborist and CNM. 24 hour laborist working 7-24 hour shifts per month and CNM works 7-12 hour shifts in a 2 week period
- We deliver more babies than any other hospital so our OB volume is high, but there is a good balance of GYN
- Between the 6 providers, there is an average of 25 OB appointments a week for each provider.
- OB pool shared
- Medical students, residents, NP/PAs rotate through OBGYN offices
- Very low office turnover - most nurses have been here 20+ years
