Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care to our patients. In this role, you will play a vital part in our healthcare team, delivering exceptional care while fostering a positive and supportive birth experience for women and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prenatal care to pregnant women, including routine prenatal visits, prenatal testing, and education on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
- Attend births as the primary provider, providing labor support, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, and facilitating a safe and empowering birth experience.
- Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns, including postpartum visits, breastfeeding support, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care for pregnant and postpartum women.
- Participate in on-call coverage schedule, providing first-call coverage for a minimum of 7 days per month.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Texas.
- Clinical experience practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women and newborns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting women's health and wellness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience
- 4.5 clinic days per week
