As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care to women throughout the continuum of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments, including physical examinations, health history reviews, and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to monitor the health and progress of expectant mothers.
  • Provide expert care during labor and childbirth, offering emotional support, pain management, and guidance to ensure a positive birthing experience.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for both mother and baby.
  • Conduct postpartum assessments and provide ongoing care to new mothers and their infants.
  • Offer guidance on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
  • Provide routine gynecological care, including annual exams, family planning services, and reproductive health education.
  • Diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions.
  • Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, fostering informed decision-making and self-care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all aspects of patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Midwife.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $110k to $130k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
