Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Summary:

This facility offers a comprehensive range of anesthesia services and is currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to help fill coverage gaps. With a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care, this role is pivotal in supporting trauma services and various surgical specialties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists.
• Provide care in inpatient settings with Level I trauma services.
• Perform epidurals and other required procedures.
• Work efficiently with case types including orthopedic, general surgery, neurosurgery, urology, and OBGYN.
• Participate in on-call duties and night coverage as needed.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CRNA including proficiency in epidurals.
• Current certification from NBCRNA.
• Active Colorado RN license and ability to obtain temporary privileges.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• NBCRNA Certification - Required
• Active CO License - Required for emergency temporary privileges
• ACLS Certification - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
