Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Join a prestigious medical facility located in Pueblo, Colorado! This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a robust team environment, and the chance to impact patient care significantly. The facility serves an average of 25 surgical cases per day, with a diverse range of cases, including General, Complex Vascular, and Orthopedic anesthesia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care in a hospital-based setting.
• Administer General Anesthesia and manage patient care throughout surgical procedures.
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with a team of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
• Work with a flexible schedule to accommodate both full-time and part-time needs.
• Complete orientation, including EPIC training and shadowing.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and high standards of patient care.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Qualifications:

• NBCRNA Certification (required, no new grads considered).
• Active Colorado nursing license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with EPIC EMR, including disclosure of the last used date.
• Clean malpractice and background record.
• COVID Vaccination status (required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and active Colorado Nursing License.
• NBCRNA certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
