Locums CRNA - Portland, ME Coverage Need

  • Assignment Dates: Starting ASAP
  • Duration: Ideally 6-month contracts (minimum 3 months with option to extend)
  • Schedule: 36-40 hours per week, 10- or 12-hour shifts - Common shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM - Other options: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM - Lunch is unpaid, and standard 15-minute morning/afternoon breaks provided - No overtime (additional hours at regular hourly rate)
Position Details Specialty: Anesthesiology Provider Type: CRNA Practice Setting: Hospital-based EMR: Epic Supervision: Medical direction model with collaborative practice alongside anesthesiologists Trauma Level: 1 Annual ER Volume: 60,000 visits Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 100 Required Procedures: - General Surgical Cases (Adult) - Spinal Anesthesia - Neurosurgical Cases - Ventilation Management - Local Infiltration CRNAs will NOT perform: - Open heart cases - Regional anesthesia - Central lines - Pediatric, thoracic, or OB cases (dedicated CRNA teams handle these) Number of ORs: 50 Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days Reason for Coverage: Expansion of clinical services Submissions Requirements Board Certification ME State License highly preferred (will accept candidates needing to obtain) BLS, ACLS Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience as a CRNA (new grads not accepted)
