- Other Details: A Level III trauma facility in Pennsylvania is seeking two full-time CRNAs for locum coverage starting August 5, 2024, due to team growth. Candidates must be board-certified, have a Pennsylvania license, and hold ACLS certification, with at least one year of experience. The position requires 16-20 shifts per month, though providers offering a minimum of 12 shifts may be considered. Shifts are structured in blocks of 5 (8-hour shifts) or 4 (10-hour shifts). The CRNA will work in the main OR, handling 3-7 consecutive cases, with no solo work or on-call duties. The case mix includes EP cases, TAVRs, Watchman procedures, complex neuro and thoracic, trauma, major vascular, OB, plastics, ortho, GI, and more.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage 3-7 consecutive cases in the main OR.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Administer anesthesia in various settings, including offsite anesthesia locations and ambulatory surgery centers.
- Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania state license (required to apply).
- ACLS certification required.
- Experience with a wide range of anesthesia cases, including EP, TAVRs, and Watchman procedures.
Working Hours
- Shifts available in blocks of 5 (8-hour shifts) or 4 (10-hour shifts).
- No on-call duties.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt in high-acuity situations.
- Experience working in a team-based OR environment.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR for charting and documentation.
- Ability to manage a diverse case mix, including trauma, cardiac (EP), major vascular, and robotic surgery.
