Salary and Benefits
- $255,000 Salary

Responsibilities
- Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule with no call
- Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and well-being throughout procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia care and assess patient recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia risks and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies
- Document all cases in Meditech EMR system
- Work within three OR suites, an endoscopy suite, and an OB unit
- Perform anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN, and pediatric patients over two years of age
- Must be proficient in endoscopic procedures and labor epidurals
Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification by the NBCRNA
- Licensed to practice as a CRNA in the state of Maine
- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia or equivalent program
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, techniques, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform effectively in emergency situations
