  • Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 3 and PEDs level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. The facility is seeking a CRNA to cover a 12-hour night shift, with a flexible schedule of 3-5 nights per week at the provider’s discretion. The case mix includes ENT, General Surgery, GI Endoscopy, GYN, Podiatry, OB, Orthopedics, (healthy) Pediatric cases, Robotic Procedures, Urology, and Vascular, with a significant focus on OB during night shifts. CRNAs work within a medically supervised, care team model, supporting 7 ORs in the main Surgery department, 4 ORs at the adjacent Surgi-Center, 2 GI treatment rooms, 1 bronchoscopy room, and 1 Cath lab. The team also provides OB coverage, though locum CRNAs are not typically assigned to OB cases.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide anesthesia care within a medically supervised, care team model.
- Administer anesthesia for various cases, including ENT, General Surgery, GI Endoscopy, GYN, Podiatry, OB, Orthopedics, Pediatric (healthy cases), Robotic Procedures, Urology, and Vascular (excluding CT and Neuro).
- Support 7 ORs in the main Surgery department, 4 ORs at the adjacent Surgi-Center, 2 GI treatment rooms, 1 bronchoscopy room, and 1 Cath lab.
- Assist with OB coverage as needed, though locum CRNAs are not typically assigned to OB cases.
- Ensure patient safety and effective pain management throughout surgical procedures.

Qualifications

- Current CRNA certification and active state license.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Experience in a care team model and diverse surgical cases preferred.
- Strong proficiency in anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.

Working Hours

- 12-hour night shifts.
- Flexible schedule of 3-5 nights per week at the provider’s discretion.
- Significant OB case volume during night shifts.
