• Coverage Needed

  • ASAP - ongoing
  • Preference for at least 6-month contracts, but will consider as short as 3 months

• Schedule

  • 36-40 hours/week
  • 10-12 shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM

• Clinical Details

  • Practice setting: hospital-based
  • Average of 100 surgical cases per day
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Annual ER volume of over 60,000 visits/year
  • Number of Operating Rooms: 50
  • Patient age demographic: includes all ages, but a pediatric CRNA specialty team covers all pediatric cases
  • CRNAs will not do open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines

• Requirements

  • Board Certification (AANA)
  • Active ME License -Highly Preferred
    • will consider candidates needing to obtain license
  • BLS, ACLS
    • PALS is optional
  • At least 1 year of experience as a CRNA in a Level 1 trauma center
  • New grads will not be considered
  • Required procedures: General Surgical Cases Adult, Spinal Anesthesia, Neurosurgical Cases, Ventilation Management, Local Infiltration

• Support Staff

  • Dedicated CRNA teams that cover pediatric, thoracic and OB cases, so locums will generally not do those cases

• EMR

  • EPIC
