Schedule: Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with Night and Weekend Beeper Call on Rotation

Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our established Anesthesiology team in Minocqua, Wisconsin. The CRNA will be responsible for delivering anesthesia services, including moderate sedation and operative procedures, with scheduled rotating shifts and beeper call coverage. The role requires proficiency in epidural anesthesia and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia for various procedures, including MAC, General Anesthesia, and elective cases.
  • Perform intubation and IV placement as part of anesthesia services.
  • Provide night and weekend beeper call coverage on a rotating basis.
  • Operate Drager anesthesia machines and utilize the Omnicell medication dispensing system.
  • Document patient information and anesthesia records using Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain proficiency in epidural anesthesia techniques and independent practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Proficiency in epidural anesthesia and comfort with independent practice.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience with Drager anesthesia machines, Omnicell medication dispensing system, and Cerner EMR is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
