We are seeking locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide high-quality anesthesia care in Idaho in a dynamic hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs who thrive in fast-paced environments, are confident working with trauma cases, and are flexible with scheduling, including weekend and weeknight call responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Hospital Type: Level II Trauma Center (focus on trauma cases)
• Operating Rooms:
o 17 Main ORs (MOR)
o 7 Day Surgery Centers (DSC)
o Specials, Cath Labs, Endoscopy, Radiology
• EMR System: Epic
• CRNA Role:
o CRNAs perform spinal blocks only (No regional anesthesia)
o Must be comfortable working independently, conducting pre-ops without supervision
• Patient Population:
o Ages: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric
o 90%+ of patients are over 12 years old

Qualifications

• Certification:
o NBCRNA – Required
o DEA & Idaho Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) – Required
• Licensure:
o Active Idaho License – Highly Preferred
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Proof required (verbal confirmation at submission)
• Experience:
o Proficiency in OB care
o Ability to work independently (conducting pre-ops without supervision) – Required

Working Hours

• Schedule Options:
o 5 x 8-hour shifts
o 4 x 10-hour shifts
o 12-hour shifts available
• Call Requirements (Mandatory):
o Weekend Call:
 0700 Saturday – 0700 Sunday or 0700 Sunday – 0700 Monday (Pager call, not in-house)
 Call 1 on Sunday: Off post-call on Monday
 Call 2 on Sunday: No post-call day off
o Weeknight Call: At least once per week (pager call)
