Munson Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment in Cadillac, MI. The ideal candidate must have regional block and OB experience and be willing to participate in the call rotation. This is a hospital-based role at a Level 3 Trauma Center, offering a mix of weekday shifts and on-call coverage.

Shift Details:

  • Weekday Shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Weekday Call: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM

  • Weekend Call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM (24 hours)

  • Call is NOT in-house

Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases, including OB and regional blocks
Work collaboratively with a team of MDAs and CRNAs
Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
Perform regional anesthesia procedures as required
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Document patient interactions accurately using Plexus EMR

Qualifications

Board Certified CRNA (AANA) – Required
Active Michigan license – Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications – Required
Regional block and OB experience – Required
Participation in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS – Required
COVID vaccination – Required
Clean background for quick credentialing – Required

Working Hours

40 hours per week + call coverage
Weekday shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Call rotations: Evenings and weekends (as scheduled)

Skills

Proficiency in regional blocks and obstetric anesthesia
Ability to manage diverse patient populations
Strong clinical decision-making and independent practice skills
Experience in a hospital-based setting with high surgical case volume
