Summary:
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will be integral to delivering high-quality anesthesia care in various clinical settings. Reporting to the anesthesia department head, your core responsibilities will include patient assessment, airway management, and administering anesthesia while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your critical care experience and knowledge of physiology will enhance patient safety and comfort. Additionally, proficiency in medical documentation and EHR systems will support effective communication and care coordination. - Dates of Coverage: Starting in May, Ongoing
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based
- Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Rate Type: Hourly
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Supervision: Supervised by MDA
- Average Surgical Cases Per Day: 25-30
- Average Pain Management Cases: 0
- Trauma Level: Level 3
- OR Staff: Great team that works together
- Number of Operating Rooms: 5 main ORs, 2 procedure rooms, and 1 OB C-section room
- Patient Age Demographic: Mostly adult and geriatric, occasional pediatrics
Requirements
- NBCRNA - Required
- Active MI license - Required
- BLS, ACLS - Required
- Procedures Required: General surgical cases (adult), spinal anesthesia, ventilation management
- No regional blocks are not required, just spinals. Ratio is either 1:2 or 1:3 for supervision and no ICU covering
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $250.00 - $275.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
