Position Details Practice Setting: Both Outpatient and Inpatient EMR System: Cerner Providers Requested: 2 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers? No Admissions Required? No Temporary Privileges Available? Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified? No Patients Per Shift: TBD Bed In Department: 16+ Requirements Minimum Board Certification: Eligible The Following Certifications Are Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Work Schedule This is a Sunday - Saturday 7a - 5p, variable schedule with in-house call, beeper-call. Call Type: In-House Response Time Required: 15 minutes Specialty Skills Required General Anesthesia for Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Trauma cases Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia Surgery Proficient in Obstetrical Cases, Neurosurgical cases Skills in Open Heart Anesthesia, Thoracic cases, Complex vascular cases, Complex orthopedic cases Pain management techniques including Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, PA Catheter placement Additional Information This role involves working in the Hospital OR and the Outpatient Surgery Center. 16+ rooms are available for a variety of cases including Mac, General Anesthesia, and both Emergent and elective cases. Intubation and IV Placement are common procedures. Operates under a supervision model with Drager Anesthesia Machines and Omnicell medication dispensing systems. The schedule is variable, generally Sunday - Saturday 7a - 5p, with in-house call and beeper-call.
