We are seeking a Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Michigan.

Position Details:

  • Patient Population: Adult and limited pediatric cases
  • Setting: Hospital
  • Responsibilities:
    • Float between two locations (notified a day before if reassigned)
    • Provide anesthesia for neuro, endoscopy, and radiology cases (no heart cases)
    • CRNAs are responsible for their own arterial line placements
    • Supervised CRNA model (4:1 ratio)
    • Most physicians perform their own blocks and regional anesthesia
    • 36-46 total cases per day across both locations (15-20 cases per site)
  • Required Procedures: Standard anesthesia procedures, arterial line placements
  • EMR System: Not specified
  • Support Staff: Supervised model (4:1 ratio)
  • Days Per Month: Full-time required
  • On-Call/Weekends: Available (optional shifts from 3 PM – 11 PM, weekend shifts optional)

Requirements:

  • Board Certified CRNA – Required
  • Active Michigan License – Required
  • Clean Background – Required (for quick credentialing)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
  • Time-Off Requests: Must be submitted upfront
  • Full-Time Commitment Required
