Job Description

Last Update: 2/21/25
Are you looking for a collaborative anesthesia team in a supportive Midwest critical access hospital? This exciting CRNA opportunity offers autonomy, a family-friendly schedule, and a competitive total compensation package valued at over $475K.

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • Autonomy with Support: Practice in a CARES team model where your clinical decisions are respected. Physicians are available to assist but allow you to manage cases based on your comfort level.
  • Diverse Case Mix: Bread-and-butter surgeries include orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, urology, endoscopy, pediatrics (e.g., adenoids), and general surgery. No cardiac, neuro, spine, or major trauma cases.
  • Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday schedule some days done by 1pm with minimal late cases.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values respect and teamwork. Case assignments are managed fairly based on preferences and expertise.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $275K annually.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: $155K provided by the hospital.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $35K.
  • Relocation Assistance: $10K.
  • Comprehensive benefits include:
    • Health and Insurance: Health, dental, vision, free life insurance (equal to base salary), accidental death and dismemberment, short/long-term disability.
    • Financial Benefits: 529 College Savings Plan, $3,000 annual tuition reimbursement, and monetary tenure awards every 5 years.
    • Paid Leave: Funeral leave (24 hours per occurrence) and jury duty leave (up to 80 hours/year).
    • Perks: YMCA discount, 18% cafeteria discount, free fitness room access.
    • Workplace Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and flexible spending accounts for dependent care and medical/dental/vision expenses.
    • Other: Travel expense reimbursement for meetings/workshops and credit union membership.
