We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum tenens coverage. The CRNA will work under a Medical Direction Model alongside attending anesthesiologists. This role involves providing anesthesia services across Main OR, Same Day OP Center, and Off-Site Anesthesia for a diverse patient population, including both adults and healthy pediatric cases.

  • Provide anesthesia care for spine procedures, thoracic, complex ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, vascular, neurosurgery, craniotomies, general surgery, and ENT.
  • Support burn center and complex neuro cases at a stroke-certified center (experience preferred but not required).
  • Participate in trauma, robotic, major vascular, colorectal, gynecology, urology, plastics, and IR/CT/Bronch cases.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment handling 14,000+ cases annually.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
  • Collaborate with attending anesthesiologists in a medical direction model.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

NBCRNA Certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience.
Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain one.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS.
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred but not required.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday (No Call).
12-hour shifts with a minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week.
16-20 shifts per month.

Skills

Expertise in a variety of anesthesia techniques.
Strong ability to work in a high-volume, complex case setting.
Proficiency in Cerner EMR.
Ability to handle high-acuity cases in a trauma environment.
