Our PA clinic is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity at its Level IV Trauma Center in York, PA. This role provides extra volume coverage in a hospital-based setting, working alongside anesthesiologists and the surgical team.

Key Requirements:

  • ✅ Active PA license or eligibility via IMLC
  • ✅ Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • ✅ 90-120 days credentialing timeframe
  • ✅ Experience working in a Level IV Trauma Center preferred
  • ✅ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • ✅ Flexible schedule options: 4 ten-hour shifts or split hours among multiple providers
  • ✅ Comfort with a variety of cases in a Level 1 Trauma Center with 36 service sites daily

Work Environment:

  • 🏥 Hospital-based setting with inpatient cases
  • 💻 Epic EMR
  • 👩‍⚕️ Support Staff: TBD
  • 📅 Schedule: 4 ten-hour days (M-Th or T-Fri) | 40 hours/week | Option to split hours
  • 🌟 Holiday Coverage: New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
  • 💉 CRNA Work Ratio: Medically directed at a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio with anesthesiologists, independent work limited to epidurals or ECTs overseen by the proceduralist.
