Job Summary:
This position, reporting directly to vice-facility chief and/or facility chief APP, assists in coordinating management activities and provides leadership, facilitating the coordination and delivery of care for patients undergoing anesthesia.Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervision of employees/management responsibilities & overseeing area daily operations, programs and activities.
- Recruitment of CRNAs including activities such as recruitment events and interviewing of candidates.
- Ensures development of anesthesia team meetings (along with leadership team)
- Establishes/maintains continuous performance improvement (PI), quality (QI) and risk management programs to meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensures credentialing and compliance for maintenance of licensure, certification and privileges of all APPS reporting to him/her.
- Maintains compliance with educational activities and mandatory requirements to ensure compliance with APP continuing educational requirements.
