A hospital-based practice in Detroit, MI is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for full-time locum tenens coverage. This role offers an opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a Monday–Friday schedule in a collaborative care-team model. Virtual interviews will be conducted.

Key Details:

  • Pay Rate: $210/hour (all-inclusive, including malpractice)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)

  • EMR System: Epic

  • Supervision Model: ACT Care-Team Model; anesthesiologists present at induction, emergence, and key intervals

  • Surgical Cases Per Day: 60 cases across 25 operating rooms

  • Patient Demographics: Primarily adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients (few pediatric cases)

  • Credentialing Timeline: 60–120 days

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for general surgical cases (adult and pediatric)
Administer anesthesia for MRI, endoscopy, IR, and EP lab proceduresPerform IV regional and spinal anesthesia
Assist with ventilation management, arterial, and central line placement
Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Board-certified CRNA – Required
Active Michigan license – Required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – Required
At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience – Required
Clean background – Required
Full-time availability (4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday) – Required
All time off must be requested upfront – Required

Working Hours

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
40 hours per week, no nights, weekends, or call
