We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA's) to join our dynamic anesthesiology team. These roles includes covering obstetric cases and elective surgeries, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient procedures. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in anesthesia techniques and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.

  • Administer anesthesia for a wide range of procedures including spinals, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and general anesthesia (GA).
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
  • Provide airway management and intubation, including inpatient ICU procedures.
  • Support elective surgical schedules across 11 locations on a rotating basis, including the main OR, surgery center, and labor and delivery (L&D).
  • Assist in obstetrics, including C-sections, with obstetric experience required.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR system (EPIC).
  • Facility Details:
    • Trauma Level III.
    • 165 beds.
    • 7 ORs in the main hospital and 3 ORs at the surgery center.
  • Patient Mix:
    • 90% Adult, 10% Pediatric.
    • 95% Surgical, 5% Other.

Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for a wide range of procedures including spinals, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and general anesthesia (GA).
Perform pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
Provide airway management and intubation, including inpatient ICU procedures.
Support elective surgical schedules across 11 locations on a rotating basis, including the main OR, surgery center, and labor and delivery (L&D).
Assist in obstetrics, including C-sections, with obstetric experience required.
Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR system (EPIC).

Qualifications

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS.
Experience: Obstetric anesthesia experience is required. No minimum years of experience, but candidates must demonstrate proficiency in relevant procedures.
Education: Must hold a CRNA credential.
Board Status: Board Certified.

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with 4x10-hour shifts per week.
On Call: No.
Rotations: 80% main OR, 15% surgery center, and 5% L&D.
Minimum Availability: 72 hours/month (equivalent to 6x12-hour shifts, 7x10-hour shifts, or 9x8-hour shifts).

Skills

Expertise in administering spinals, MAC, and GA anesthesia.
Proficient in bread-and-butter anesthesia cases, outpatient surgery, and ICU intubations.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a medically supervised model.
Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
