About the Opportunity:
We are seeking 2 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team. This is a full-time locum tenens opportunity at a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center specializing in low-acuity, outpatient cases. The position offers flexibility with scheduling and competitive compensation.

Position Details:

  • Duration: Open-ended, starting as a 2–3-month contract with potential for extension.
  • Shifts: Combination of 8, 9, or 10-hour shifts (Monday/Tuesday: 8-hour shifts; Thursday/Friday: 10-hour shifts). Flexibility required—end time may vary based on case completion, typically by 5 PM.
  • Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
  • No Call Required
  • Patient Mix:
    • Adults: 97%
    • Pediatrics (8 years and older): 3%

Typical Cases:

  • Outpatient sports orthopedics, plastics, and hand cases.
  • Common procedures:
    • Arthroscopy (shoulder/knee)
    • Tendon transfers
    • Biceps tendon repair
    • Excision of ganglion cysts
    • Trigger finger release
    • Carpal tunnel release
    • ORIF elbow
  • Frequent sedation cases with surgical-level nerve blocks.

Provider Requirements:

  • Board Status: Board Certified (NBCRNA required)
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • State Licensure: Must hold an active Pennsylvania license.
  • Clearances: Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances required.
  • DEA License: Not required.
