Position Overview

• Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Contract Length: Two weeks in March 2025
• Schedule: 7 AM - 3 PM with on-call from 3 PM - 7 AM
• Available Dates:
  • 3/10/2025 - 3/14/2025
  • 3/17/2025 - 3/21/2025 (with beeper call on 3/19)

• Technology: EMR System: Cerner and SaAnesthesia

Work Requirements

• Work Details:
  • Bread-and-butter cases: general surgery, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, breast cancer surgery, vascular and thoracic cases.
  • Average 10-20 Endoscopy cases per day under propofol-infusion.
  • CRNAs are medically supervised and follow medical direction from anesthesiologists.
  • Occasional involvement in elective or urgent C-sections alongside an anesthesiologist.
  • No pediatrics, heads, hearts, ENT, or spines.
  • Average 4-7 OR cases/day, depending on specialty.
• Department Description: Includes ortho, ortho trauma, general surgery, trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endo.
• OR Details: 11 ORs in the main hospital and 2 in the ambulatory center.
• Daily Volume: 50-60 cases per day.
• Licensure: Must hold an active Arizona state license.
• Certifications: ACLS certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days.

Additional Information

• Overtime Pay: 1.5x after 40 hours per week.
• Holiday Pay: 1.5x normal rate for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Travel/Lodging: Provided.
