Job Description
Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join our dedicated team at a Level III trauma facility located in Coos Bay, Oregon. This high-acuity hospital is the largest on the Southern Coast of Oregon, serving a catchment area of over 320,000 residents. We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to become part of our well-established, hospital-employed group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Practice independently according to your expertise and in compliance with Oregon State statutes/regulations.
- Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws.
- Collaborate with a solid team of physicians and CRNAs.
- Handle a diverse range of cases excluding heads and hearts, working primarily with healthy pediatric patients.
- Perform various types of blocks as part of procedures.
- Participate in paid call, shared equitably, with post-call day off; weekends shared among team members.
- Maintain residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified CRNA - Required
- 1+ year employment experience as a CRNA - Required
- Ties to Oregon - i.e., family in the area or prior residence - Required
- Interest in full-time or part-time employment - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Oregon license or willingness to obtain - Required
