Job Description:

The Ambulatory Center in Amherst is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time position. This role involves primarily bread-and-butter cases, including plastics and orthopedics, in a supportive outpatient surgery center environment. Pediatrics is not required, but for those interested, the center performs tubes once a week and tonsils once a month. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $250/hour and excellent work-life balance with no nights or weekends.

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures
Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current CRNA licensure in New York
National certification as a CRNA
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience in outpatient anesthesia preferred but not required
Excellent communication and patient care skills
