Job Responsibilities

Candidate must have experience with procedures in both adult & pediatric patients
CRNA shall directly provide all professional anesthesiology services and/or supervise and manage anesthesiology services for the benefit of individual Hospital patients, as may be required to meet Hospital’s requirements for such services in a timely manner through scheduled or “on call” coverage, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In addition, CRNA shall:
- Provide pre-evaluation anesthesia services in accordance with guidelines approved by both Group and Hospital.
- Provide post-surgical monitoring for complications related to the administration of anesthesia; and
- Respond promptly to those codes to which an anesthesia provider is specifically paged, as practitioner availability permits.
- Clinical Services provided by CRNA shall be performed in accordance with currently approved and generally accepted medical standards, as may be changed from time to time.

Qualifications

Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) - REQUIRED
IA license (or willing to obtain) or IMLC - REQUIRED
5+ years of CRNA work experience - PREFERRED
BLS (or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire) - REQUIRED
ACLS, PALS, AND NRP certifications (or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire) - REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice - PREFERRED

Skills

General anesthesia, including general surgical anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, thoracic anesthesia and obstetrical anesthesia; intravenous sedation; intravenous regional anesthesia; regional blocks; and conductive anesthesia, as required by Hospital’s patients (including inpatients, surgical outpatients and those receiving emergency care.)
